JAH TRINITY

JahTrinity crew in Gloucester UK, July 1999. The sound System had just been sold to a wonderful couple from the Italian Alps , called Nadine and Matteo. They collected half of the system and drove 20 hours back into the Alps in Italy. The other half of the sound, was couiered via a large truck, it contained 8 scoop bins with single 18 inch speakers.It was renamed "King David Warriors sound"

This was a day mixed with sadness and gladness. Sad to see the end of an era, but glad that the sound was moving abroad to a very good home, where Nadine and Matteo played over 200 dances and concerts with the system (even more than Jah Trinity sound!) That system has since been sold onto a man called Nico Planno in France where he has restored the 4 double boxes, to their former glory ready to tour Paris, France and beyond with the original system. The 8 scoops have been sold onto Lucius in Milan Italy, where he travels all over playing Reggae music on other half of the Jah Trinity Sound, renamed The Lion Sound System.

It is comforting and quite astonishing ,to think that the original Jah Trinity sound boxes and amps are still being used regularly in both France and Italy...still playing heavy weight bass ,mids and tops, with Reggae and dub music same way! Now Milton is here in Adelaide Australia, still designing and building various speaker systems for people to play the music that they love and the public enjoy.

Terry Gad in London, is the founding member of Jah Trinity Sound and regularly plays Roots and Culture Reggae Music, all over the UK and Europe. He is still going firm and strong,playing Jah music for all to hear.

Look out for him stepping inna a warrior style at numerous sessions."
